Developing the positioning requires three steps: Assessing the home’s condition and highlight features compared to other similar home for sale, connecting those features to the current trends in buyer preferences, crafting the narrative to connect to the distinctive value your home offers.

The Gold Team, husband and wife, Scott and Cherie work together to provide both buyers and sellers the best resources available in the real estate industry.

Homestead Realty is a family-owned and operated business. Our values are deeply rooted in the rich culture of western North Carolina. The fundamental beliefs that the people of North Carolina have been raised with, for decades, are the basic building stones of our firm.

The owners of Homestead Realty are husband and wife team, Scott and Cherie Goldsmith, known as The Gold Team. Both of us have been self-employed from a very young age and our diverse backgrounds are well suited to today's real estate industry. Before becoming husband and wife Cherie was the owner/operator of a computer consulting firm in Asheville, NC and Scott was a residential building contractor in Transylvania County. After several years of marriage, we opened a "mom and pops" land development company. For 17 years Scott handled all aspects of subdivision planning, road construction, lot improvements, and sales. Cherie was responsible for marketing, finance, and contract to closing coordination. Due to the demand for new affordable housing in the area, we also began residential speculative building and handled all levels of construction from dirt to doorknobs. We now offer our extensive experience in all facets of real estate to our buyer and seller clients in Brevard, Hendersonville, Arden, Fletcher, and the surrounding Asheville area.

Our core beliefs are centered around our faith and family. These beliefs are reflected in the relationships we build with our clients. Most of the people we deal with become friends first and clients second.

Our intent is to leave a legacy that speaks of honesty, allegiance to our community and the need to do the right thing without regard for monetary gain.
